Job Overview

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, a trusted name in the heating and cooling industry, is seeking a dedicated HVAC Home Comfort Advisor (HCA) to engage in personalized sales consultations within residential settings, emphasizing HVAC systems, comfort enhancements, and energy efficiency.

The HCA will evaluate the needs of homeowners, craft and present proposals for HVAC upgrades or replacements, finalize sales, process orders, and collaborate with team members to guarantee customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with both new and existing clients to navigate the sales process while discussing equipment options and financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers, both current and prospective, to promote the company's service offerings.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for contracts and proposals.
  • Follow up on sales leads generated through various channels.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities, with a focus on service agreements and new equipment sales.
  • Sell, renew, and expand service agreements for both new and existing clients.
  • Maintain a closing ratio of 70% or higher on generated leads and 50% or higher on marketed leads.
  • Be readily accessible by phone for client inquiries.
  • Exhibit technical knowledge and maintain a high level of credibility with clients.
  • Recommend tailored solutions that align with customer objectives and highlight competitive advantages.
  • Influence service strategies positively and credibly with homeowners.
  • Develop and present proposals and contracts for residential service agreements.
  • Effectively negotiate terms and address client concerns to close sales.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in in-home sales.
  • Proven success in the HVAC industry with a solid understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with HVAC concepts, practices, and equipment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, customer-focused approach, and self-discipline.
  • Exceptional needs-based sales skills and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience in in-home service agreement sales and estimating.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
