Job Overview

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, a leading provider in the heating and cooling sector, is seeking a dedicated HVAC Home Comfort Advisor (HCA) to engage in personalized sales consultations centered on HVAC systems, comfort enhancement, and energy efficiency.

The HCA will evaluate the needs of homeowners, create and present proposals for HVAC upgrades or replacements, secure sales, process orders, and collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves working with both new and existing clients to navigate the sales process while exploring various equipment and financing alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage potential customers, both current and non-contract, to promote the company's service offerings.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for contracts and proposals.
  • Follow up on sales leads generated from various sources.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities, focusing on service agreements and new equipment sales.
  • Sell, renew, and expand service agreements for both new and existing clients.
  • Maintain a closing ratio of 70% or higher on generated leads and 50% or higher on marketed leads.
  • Be readily accessible via phone for customer inquiries.
  • Exhibit technical expertise and maintain a high level of credibility with clients.
  • Recommend tailored solutions that align with customer objectives and highlight competitive advantages.
  • Influence service strategies positively with homeowners.
  • Develop and present comprehensive proposals and contracts for residential service agreements.
  • Effectively negotiate terms and address any customer concerns to close sales.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in in-home sales.
  • Proven success in the HVAC industry with a solid understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with HVAC concepts, practices, and tools.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, customer-oriented approach, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Proficient in needs-based sales techniques and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience in in-home service agreement sales and estimating.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
