One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, a leader in the heating and cooling industry, is seeking a dedicated HVAC Home Comfort Advisor (HCA) to engage in in-home sales consultations centered around HVAC systems, comfort solutions, and energy efficiency.
The HCA will evaluate homeowner requirements, create and present proposals for HVAC upgrades or replacements, secure sales, process orders, and collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves working with both new and existing clients to navigate the sales process while discussing equipment and financing alternatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage potential customers, both non-contract and existing, to enhance awareness of service offerings.
- Prepare detailed estimates for contracts and proposals.
- Follow up on sales leads from various sources, including self-generated leads.
- Manage multiple sales opportunities, with a focus on selling service agreements and new equipment.
- Sell, renew, and expand service agreements for both new and existing clients.
- Maintain a closing ratio of 70% or higher on generated leads and 50% or higher on marketed leads.
- Be accessible by phone at all times for customer inquiries.
- Exhibit technical expertise and maintain a high level of credibility with clients.
- Recommend solutions that align with customer objectives, highlighting total value and competitive advantages.
- Influence service strategies positively and credibly with homeowners.
- Develop and present proposals and contracts for residential service agreements.
- Effectively negotiate value, address objections, and close sales.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with all customers and colleagues.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in in-home sales.
- Proven success in the industry with knowledge of local market dynamics.
- Familiarity with HVAC concepts, practices, and tools.
- Strong relationship-building skills, customer-focused approach, and discipline.
- Exceptional needs-based sales skills and a commitment to excellence.
- Experience in in-home service agreement sales and estimating.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
