SDS2 / ALLPLAN is a renowned global provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM) design software tailored for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. We are currently seeking a Product Owner to spearhead the development and refinement of our innovative software solutions aimed at steel detailers and fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and uphold the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring they align with both business objectives and customer requirements for engineering analysis and structural workflows.
- Identify and prioritize product themes, collaborating on strategic initiatives informed by customer insights, market trends, and analytical data.
- Engage closely with designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to guarantee that product specifications are clearly articulated and comprehended.
- Ensure that the digital experience is intuitive, accessible, and adheres to industry standards and regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, providing updates, progress reports, and addressing challenges in a clear and concise manner.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of steel detailing and fabrication standards, enabling effective communication with development teams and the ability to recommend best practices for our clients.
- Exhibit proficiency in product management methodologies, particularly agile processes and scrum, with a proven capability to lead a motivated team.
- Drive continuous product enhancements, delivering outcomes that surpass customer expectations.
- Act as an industry representative for SDS2 / ALLPLAN.
- Demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze market data, including user feedback, competitive analysis, and prospects, to inform product planning.
- Collaborate across the organization to craft compelling value propositions from the outset of the development cycle.
- Define user personas and partner with UX and Development teams to conduct technology assessments and establish direction.
- Build and manage the product backlog in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
