Human Resources Generalist Position

Virtual is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR-related duties, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, training, record keeping, performance management, policy implementation, communication, and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Talent acquisition and recruiting to find the best candidates for the company.
- Background checks and drug screenings for post-hires to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Benefits enrollment and administration to support employees' well-being.
- Employee orientation, including safety training, to ensure new hires are equipped to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Verifying I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Performance appraisals to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for growth and development.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or coordinator role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is highly desired.
- PHR/SHRM Certification is a plus.
- UKG Pro experience or HRIS is desired.
- Experience with MS Office is required.
