Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the orchestration of software releases, including firmware, to ensure timely and smooth delivery to customers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Effectively communicate release schedules and updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Support firmware release delivery and assist in seamless integration with software releases.
  • Oversee day-to-day tasks of firmware development activities, including feature development, platform integration, and testing.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement to enhance release efficiency and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Firmware Development Expertise: Proficiency in firmware development processes, including feature development, platform integration, and testing.
  • Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN for managing firmware codebase changes.
  • Release Automation Tools: Experience with release automation tools like Jenkins or Bamboo to streamline the deployment process and ensure consistency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Firmware Development Tools: Proficiency in tools and technologies commonly used in firmware development, such as IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) like Eclipse or Visual Studio.
