Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily interactions with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, demonstrating a positive organizational attitude and effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and insurance companies, handling collections of monies from patients and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Perform patient scheduling, check-in, checkout, and follow-up activities, utilizing computer and data input skills to maintain accurate records.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining proficiency and efficiency while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a physician office or related healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical terminology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a professional and neat appearance.
Work Environment:

This is a Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm position, with opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
