Job Overview

The Bartender plays a vital role in crafting and serving drinks and food to patrons while ensuring exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Anticipate and respond to customer needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  2. Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and maintain a proactive service approach.
  3. Deliver quick, friendly, and professional service to both guests and staff.
  4. Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion control standards.
  5. Serve beverages to guests with care and attention.
  6. Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Accurately process payments from guests, including cash and card transactions.
  8. Maintain the bar area by stocking supplies such as beer, wine, spirits, and necessary bar tools.
  9. Ensure the quality and proper storage of all beverage-related perishables.
  10. Handle situations involving intoxicated guests with professionalism.
  11. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
  12. Maintain a calm, tactful, and creative demeanor in all interactions.
  13. Contribute to a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable workplace environment.
  14. Deliver superior service and quality products consistently to guests and team members.
  15. Lead by example, following directions and ensuring operational standards are met.
  16. Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
  17. Participate in all required departmental meetings.
  18. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions.
  19. Safeguard confidential information and protect company assets.
  20. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the objectives of Nhshotels.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of six months experience in bartending within a full-service establishment.
  • Energetic and motivated individual.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to timely task completion.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
