Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute various functions within Ginna's Cafe, including deli service, beverage preparation, and food handling as directed by leadership.
  • Prepare and sell a variety of fudge products to customers.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations in compliance with local and state guidelines.
  • Ensure proper receipt and storage of products following established protocols.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members using provided resources and guidelines.
  • Maintain cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Support daily operations through effective management of side work and cleanliness standards.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of cafe recipes and menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance the customer experience.
  • Exhibit professionalism in demeanor and appearance, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Read and interpret safety guidelines and operational manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Prepare a variety of food and beverage items with attention to detail.

Education & Experience:

Physical demands may include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and maintaining a high level of activity throughout the shift.

Schedule:
  • Shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with day hours and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Hours may vary based on store needs, especially during peak seasons.
  • Average weekly hours range from 20 to 25.
