Job Overview

The Bartender plays a crucial role in crafting and serving beverages and/or food to patrons while ensuring exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anticipate and address customer needs to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a proactive service approach throughout their visit.
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to hotel guests and team members.
  • Prepare and garnish drinks according to established recipes and portion control standards.
  • Serve beverages to guests with attention to detail.
  • Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit/debit card transactions.
  • Maintain the bar area by stocking necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and other essentials.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all beverage-related perishables.
  • Handle inebriated guests with professionalism and care.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Exhibit calmness, tact, and creativity in all interactions to foster trust with guests and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable workplace environment.
  • Deliver consistent service and quality products to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Lead by example, following instructions and ensuring all operational standards are met.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
  • Participate in all required departmental meetings.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect company assets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the objectives of National Hospitality Services.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of six months bartending experience in a full-service establishment.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to timely task completion.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
