Job Summary

Cornerstone Resources is seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to oversee the daily operations of our digital and core systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing and administering our core banking system, banking technologies, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team: Manage and coordinate the daily activities of a team responsible for the management and administration of our core banking system, banking technologies, and applications.
  • Documentation and Implementation: Responsible for documenting, implementing, and performing IT programs and processes.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities, support, and integration of our various digital products and systems, including digital banking platform, mobile apps, mobile deposit, bill pay, digital payments, e-documents, e-signature, online lending, and account opening solutions, banking by phone, and monitoring of online systems and services.
  • System Transition: Coordinate with the IT team to transition new systems and processes from implementation to ongoing support.
  • Core System Operations: Responsible for assuring the day-to-day operations and processing of our Symitar/EASE core operating systems meet our business requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Work with core banking vendors to implement, configure, and deploy third-party data integration between our core banking systems and vendor solutions using SymXchange and SymConnect.
  • Third-Party Solutions: Work with vendors to implement, support, and maintain third-party solutions.
  • Digital Services: Support the implementation of new digital services and complete comprehensive testing and validation of upgrades and releases to existing digital services.
  • Issue Resolution: Support issues impacting staff and members, acting as a central point of contact for internal and member-facing digital systems.
  • Disaster Recovery: Work closely with management to ensure we are prepared and have the proper policies in place for disaster recovery and business resumption.
  • System Outages: Act as a point of contact for system outages and upgrades, and serve as a consultant to business groups to analyze and document core system business requirements.
  • Issue Research: Research and communicate recurring or severe issues and recommend temporary and permanent solutions to maintain service and minimize member impact.
  • Core System Upgrades: Oversee and coordinate the updating of our Episys core banking system upgrades and service packs with the Symitar/EASE support teams and credit union business leaders.
  • Channel Convergence: Work to improve channel convergence and strive for a consistent member experience across all channels.
  • Project Planning: Work closely with designated IT personnel and internal business units in the successful planning and implementation of projects.
  • Automation: Write and maintain programs, utilities, and command files as needed to automate specific projects.
  • Standardized Methods: Ensure standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to core IT infrastructure systems.
  • Specfile Development: Develop, test, and implement Symitar (Episys) batch and on-demand specfiles, including core database.
