Weekly Commitment: 37.5 hours

Compensation: $19.25 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Provide assistance to individuals with essential daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Ensure the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to well-being.
  • Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Facilitate participation in community events and activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support individuals in daily living tasks.
  • Engage in recreational and community-based activities.
  • Implement personalized care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Uphold cleanliness and proper record-keeping within the residence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Administer medications as directed.
  • Promote the overall well-being of individuals.
  • Accompany individuals to scheduled appointments and activities.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to coordinate movements effectively during care activities.
  • Safely lift and transfer individuals as needed.
  • Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Perform bending, stretching, and reaching tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Completion of necessary training programs.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations and willingness to work overtime.
  • Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
