Administrative Support Specialist

At Bowery Residents Committee, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including preparing check requests, entering invoices and purchase requisitions, and maintaining files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the staff, including the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor
- Prepare check requests and enter invoices and purchase requisitions
- Maintain files and inventory office and program supplies
- Handle confidential information and perform basic receptionist duties
- Assist with interoffice mail pick up and drop off, and deliver documents to city offices as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bilingual preferred
