Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Advancement Services at William James College, Inc. in Boston, MA. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Oversee Fundraising Operations: Manage various advancement and fundraising operations, including individual donor prospect identification and stewardship, Alumni Relations and Annual Giving program development, and database management.
- Build Relationships with Stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with alumni, donors, faculty, staff, trustees, and other stakeholders to advance fundraising efforts.
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve institutional goals, working closely with colleagues to build a comprehensive approach.
- Manage Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database, creating reports to track prospect tracking purposes and search-ability.
- Bachelor's Degree and Experience: A bachelor's degree and three-plus years of experience in Alumni Relations and/or Annual Giving, preferably in higher education.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to set goals, develop strategies, and manage projects to completion.
