Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Southern Medical Management LLC. This full-time position is responsible for providing exceptional patient experience by handling administrative duties and ensuring a smooth flow of patients in our clinical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and parents, assists with paperwork, and verifies insurance for appointments.
  • Monitors the Kiosk daily, assists with check-in, and ensures timely patient flow.
  • Processes and distributes incoming faxes, faxes documents as required, and checks patient schedules for accuracy.
  • Performs Gaps-in-Care communications, answers patient questions, and scans documents into eClinical.
  • Assists with receiving, sorting, and distributing mail, and performs related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate professional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Working knowledge of relevant policies and regulations, with ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other staff, and exercise sound and independent judgment.
