Job Title: Food Service Aide

Join our team as a Food Service Aide/Cashier at the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Mount Joy Campus. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.00 and a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:30AM to 1:30PM.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare fruits and vegetables for daily use, including washing, slicing, cupping, and other kitchen standards.
  • Cashiering: Record and process student meals or a la carte items as needed.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean work areas, wipe tables and chairs, sweep and mop floors, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Food Service: Serve meals on line during lunch shifts, assist with wrapping hot sandwiches, and arrange food and beverage items for student and staff access.
  • General Duties: Assist with removing trash, complete necessary Professional Standards Training annually, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements: Must be able to carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
