Responsibilities
  • Complete accurate and timely record keeping for resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan daily services, programs, and activities that meet resident needs.
  • Administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement programs, goals, and policies that promote quality care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing personnel, ensuring direct care is delivered in accordance with resident care plans.
  • Participate in facility surveys and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
