Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II/Facilities Scheduler to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Athletics Department at the University of Redlands. This role will oversee all Field House office activities and coordinate day-to-day office operations, including receptionist duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Athletics Department, including scheduling, communication, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate the use of athletic facilities, including scheduling, reservations, and maintenance.
  • Assist with event planning, including banquets, awards ceremonies, and other special events.
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing students and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records, including files, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Event Services, Facilities, and Athletics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

This position is located in the Field House office and requires regular interaction with students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
