Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team at American Family Care. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical records and coding data.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze medical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve coding and billing issues
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Associate's degree in health information technology or related field
- 2+ years of experience in medical coding and revenue cycle management
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Competitive salary range: $37,000 - $54,000 per year
