**Job Summary**
Swanson Rink is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to partner with our clients and team members to execute complex, technical projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-discipline design teams, establishing project controls, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all project disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout design and construction phase activities.
- Lead multi-discipline design teams, including subconsultants and strategic partners, to deliver high-quality projects.
- Establish and maintain project controls to track and measure project progress, issues, and performance.
- Collaborate with clients to establish project schedules and deliverables.
- Set internal milestones and ensure the team is prepared to meet all deliverables, technical requirements, and schedules.
- Develop and deploy project-specific QA-QC plans and strategies.
- Proactively identify and solve problems.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect or ability and determination to become licensed.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Engineering or Construction Management, preferably in a specific engineering discipline such as commercial, industrial, or institutional buildings.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
