Pioneer Management Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Energy Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex energy and utility projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, lead project teams, and ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage project stakeholders, including senior management, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks proactively to ensure project success.
- Project Controls: Develop and implement project controls processes to monitor and report on project performance.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach less experienced project managers within the PMO.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (master's preferred).
- Experience: Extensive experience in project management, ideally within the utilities industry.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Technical Skills: Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and project controls methodologies.
- Certifications: PMP Certification and OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
Pioneer Management Consulting offers a competitive hourly rate of $100-$135/hour for this contract position. This is a long-term multi-year engagement with opportunities for professional growth and development.
