Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Event Sales Director to join our team at Ropeswing Hospitality Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through consistent interaction with our corporate, non-profit, and private client base.

The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of our sales offerings, programs, and menus, enabling them to effectively communicate value to clients and generate revenue through room rental and food and beverage sales. Building trust and rapport with clients will be essential in securing repeat business and achieving sales goals.

This role requires strong organizational skills, as you will be managing new and existing accounts to ensure seamless execution of events and drive long-term relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management of event staff, ensuring adherence to service and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of potential venues, capacity restrictions, property layout options, and fire code regulations to educate clients on event planning.
  • Negotiate rates and prices within established goals, close sales, and prepare lead and weekly sales reports to document progress.
  • Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients, providing excellent customer service and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Possess thorough operational knowledge of POS and CRM/invoicing systems to ensure accurate reporting and efficient event execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration and 1+ years of experience in an Inside Sales-based role (preferred).
