Position Overview
The Division of Management Services (DMS) is actively seeking to fill the role of Executive Staff Assistant. This position will be based at our central office.
Role Summary
This role is pivotal in providing guidance and supporting the administrative operations and services for the DMS.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing special projects and administrative tasks.
- Developing and maintaining databases and tracking systems.
- Managing electronic calendars and processing communications efficiently.
- Drafting documents as required and offering comprehensive administrative support for the Division.
This position involves interaction with various public officials, including senior management, legislators, and representatives from other state agencies.
CompensationThe starting salary ranges from $42,952 to $79,144 annually, complemented by an excellent benefits package.
Salary will be determined in accordance with the Compensation Plan and applicable regulations.
A 12-month probationary period is mandatory.Benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Experience providing administrative support to management (e.g., organizing meetings, scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence, and document proofreading).
- Proficiency in preparing written reports and communication materials.
- Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite for data management and report creation.
Preferred qualifications include:- Experience liaising with stakeholders.Ability to compile, analyze, and present information effectively.Skills in organizing and managing projects.Application Process
