About the Role

Innophos is seeking a highly skilled Corporate EHS Specialist to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for providing general EHS support to our Corporate and Site EHS teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigations and Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks.
  • EHS Information Management: Manage our Corporate EHS Information Management Systems (Benchmark) to ensure accurate and up-to-date EHS data.
  • EHS Training and Development: Develop and implement EHS training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Contractor/Vendor EHS Management: Manage our Corporate Contractor/Vendor EHS programs (ISN, Avetta) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Data Analysis and Metrics Compilation: Analyze EHS data and compile metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • EHS Communications and Reporting: Develop and disseminate EHS communications and reports to stakeholders.
  • Lab Safety and EHS at Corporate Office: Oversee EHS at our Corporate office, including lab safety.
  • Product Stewardship: Support our Corporate Product Stewardship programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Travel and International Travel: Travel up to 20% required, may include international travel.
Requirements
  • Education: B.A. Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3 or more years of previous Environmental, Health, Safety, and Product Stewardship experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
  • Process Safety and Root Cause Analysis: Experience with process safety and root cause analysis.
  • Hazard Communication and Safety Data Sheets: Knowledge of hazard communication and safety data sheet review and generation.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Experience with data trending, analytics, and visualization preparation (Benchmark, Enablon, Power BI or similar).
  • Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and other business-specific software.
  • Industrial and IT Experience: Industrial and/or IT experience.
  • Purchasing/Supply Chain Support: Purchasing/supply chain support experience.
  • Training and Administration: Training and administration experience (organizing trainings, etc.).
  • Metrics Compilation and Inspections: Experience with metrics compilation and inspections.
