Job Description

The Banquet Set-Up team is responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests at Orange Hill Restaurant Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing that our guests receive excellent service by responding to their needs and having them seated at a clean and properly set table within the shortest amount of time possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with servers and host/hostess to ensure tables are ready in response to their instructions.
  • Clean tables, chairs, and booster chairs promptly after guests leave.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests or notify servers responsible of any guest questions or complaints.
  • Complete all involvement with guest service sequence, i.e. bread service, water service.
  • Ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare and restock coffee and iced tea.
  • Clear away dishes and glassware and refill beverages.
  • Clean and sanitize throughout the shift including spot sweeping and emptying the trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room, restroom, perimeter of building, and parking lot.
  • Adhere to Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Present a neat and well-groomed appearance in clean Company uniforms at all times.
  • Wear approved manufacturer certified slip-resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working.
  • Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or 1 year of similar experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 30-70 lbs. Balance and walk with heavy trays, dinnerware, and drinks.
