Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and cooking elements for menu items, including washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, slicing, and cooking.
  • Store ingredients and cooking elements in a clean and organized manner, covering items left in the open air, and preparing special food elements ahead of time.
  • Work efficiently to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station, breaking down and cleaning station thoroughly every day.
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products to par, labeling, day dotting, and signing all products, and obtaining Chef/Manager signature on all products.
  • Wear approved manufacturer-certified slip-resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of similar experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English.
  • Food Handler Certificate required.

  • Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
