Job Title: Supervisor of Career Navigation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Career Navigation to join our team at Fedcap Rehabilitation Services in Washington, D.C.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Career Navigation will oversee a team of navigators and support staff, ensuring full departmental adherence to policy and protocol. This role will also serve as the main point of contact for assigned case loads of Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program participants referred to Fedcap by the District of Columbia's Department of Human Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of approximately 6-10 staff members responsible for providing case coaching and ensuring each individual team member meets monthly/quarterly/yearly contractual goals.
  • Build rapport with existing participants, collect customer satisfaction surveys, interact with high-priority participants, and advise navigators on proper case handling.
  • Work with the Program Manager to develop solutions and partner with other program leaders to execute process and projects for the growth and continuous improvement of the program.
  • Motivate staff, establish, and maintain a high-energy, highly accountable team approach to getting site work completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute solutions to employer-specific training needs, funder requests, and feedback from internal reviews.
  • Ensure that staff and program components deliver quality services to facility participants in accordance with overall program objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, social services, counseling, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years' experience supervising in a vocational rehabilitation, case management, or related field; and/or work experience determined to be acceptable to the agency.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. but will be determined by your supervisor. On a rotating basis, one evening and/or one weekend day is required.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
