Position Overview:CorpsAfrica is seeking a mission-oriented, strategic leader to assume the role of Chief of Human Resources and Organizational Culture. This crucial position will manage all human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance, supporting a diverse team of over 130 employees across Africa and the United States.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, which is vital for our team's success.
- CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, exempt
- SALARY AND BENEFITS: The compensation range for this position is $120,000-$130,000 for employees based in the US, with adjustments based on the country of hire for international candidates. We provide competitive compensation packages and benefits tailored to local markets.
- LOCATION: CorpsAfrica offices across various African nations or the United States.
- REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer
- Build, lead, and manage the HR team to align with our organizational goals and support our employees.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, responsiveness, and empathy within CorpsAfrica.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess staffing needs and enhance HR processes.
- Review and refine compensation and benefits packages to attract top talent.
- Ensure compliance with policies and provide HR support across all organizational levels.
- Work together on recruitment and onboarding strategies for effective talent acquisition.
- Develop programs focused on employee well-being, professional growth, and retention.
- Lead training initiatives and performance evaluations to promote continuous development.
- Address employee relations issues and offer guidance on conflict resolution.
- Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, preferably a Master's degree, along with 7-10 years of HR management experience, particularly in multicultural environments like Africa. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of French is a valuable asset.
