Job Summary:

The Commercial Development Manager will identify and evaluate strategic initiatives that drive the growth and expansion of SP Associates through additional product offerings and markets. The incumbent will work closely with sales teams, customers, leadership and technical teams to bring new or enhanced products to market and help identify target accounts for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate the financial and strategic feasibility of potential opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Plan, prepare and execute product development, product enhancements, marketing and branding strategies based on industry trends and customer feedback to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Provide marketing and product guidance to sales teams to ensure alignment and effective sales strategies.
  • Create and update product literature and marketing tools to support sales efforts.
  • Collects and evaluates customer requirements and business data, and develops a business plan that meets the requirements and charts the course for future growth for the company.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 50% to engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather and analyze both customer and consumer data to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or other related discipline.
  • Must have carpet cushion experience.
  • 3+ years of product management and experience working with sales and customers on strategic solutions.
  • Demonstrated strong track record of generating solution-based, business-to-business sales opportunities for new products.
