About You:

We are in search of a Structured Cabling Sales Specialist who will drive profitable sales of structured cabling and voice/data solutions by cultivating enduring relationships with various organizations.

Your role will involve selling ongoing services and equipment, which may encompass structured cabling, fiber optic installations, TV distribution systems, wireless access point deployments, and other integrated solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and nurture a consultative relationship with clients requiring structured cabling installations.
• Identify and develop additional sales opportunities related to projects or clients.
• Follow up on new sales leads and referrals generated from field activities.
• Present and promote company products and services to both existing and prospective clients, including electrical contractors, general contractors, and end-users.
• Generate detailed proposals that outline cost estimates for both retrofit and new construction projects.
• Attend and engage in pre-bid, pre-construction, and post-project completion meetings.
• Identify local and multi-location companies within a designated geographic area or industry.
• Cultivate business and social relationships with key decision-makers.
• Deliver oral and written presentations to potential customers, detailing the equipment and services offered by LVC.
• Assist potential clients in specifying bids prior to any Requests for Proposals.
• Collaborate with Design to prepare comprehensive proposals for all systems and services to be sold and aid in contract preparation.
• Prepare local pricing estimates and Bills of Materials.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts presented to potential clients.
• Support the installation, service, and billing departments as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven sales skills with a minimum of 3 years of successful experience.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with customers over the phone.
• Quick adaptability to evolving technology and priorities.
• Self-motivated with experience in cold calling.
• Advanced knowledge of access control, fire, and video surveillance systems.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and logic while working with diverse groups.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and general PC skills, with experience using a sales CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a focus on management, marketing, or sales.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in the sales industry.
• Experience in voice/data structured cabling design, installation, and/or project management is advantageous.
• End-user focused sales experience is beneficial.
