  • Craft and pitch compelling stories to national, regional, and trade outlets that resonate with key audiences.
  • Partner with and manage external PR agency to execute buzzworthy news & moments
  • Manage media requests, interviews, and press inquiries, ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging.
  • Manage PR send-outs, including media kits, PR packages, and product samples, ensuring they're delivered on time and in line with brand standards
  • Lead crisis communication efforts, including preparing statements and managing real-time responses during high-pressure situations.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of press releases, media kits, and communication materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on corporate messaging, executive speeches, and internal communication strategies.
  • Identify and execute expert and media partnerships
  • Identify, develop and submit awards in relevant thought leadership and product categories
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and provide insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Stay on top of cultural trends, media shifts, and competitor activities to ensure the brand remains relevant and cutting-edge.

Requirements:
  • Experience managing PR campaigns across digital, print, and broadcast media.
  • Strong network of media, influencer, and talent contacts; experience with PR agency collaboration is a plus.
  • Proven track record of securing high-impact media placements and driving brand awareness.
  • Experience managing PR send-outs, including media kits, influencer packages, and product samples.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, preferably in CPG.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
