Job Summary

Community Clinic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and manage the entire revenue cycle process. This key role will ensure efficient and accurate billing, as well as the provision of high-quality, cost-effective, and culturally sensitive services in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with billing management and accounting personnel to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and collections, reporting, and reconciliation between billing and accounting systems.
  • Analyze trends in revenues, adjustments, and visits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present monthly revenue cycle reports to management, highlighting key data and insights.
  • Negotiate and maintain contract relationships with payers, including contract negotiations.
  • Review financial hardship applications and make recommendations.
  • Conduct research and analysis of receivables to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Participate in the annual audit process to ensure timely finalization and positive outcomes.
  • Provide regular communication with the Chief Financial Officer, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Supervise and orient billing staff, assign work, develop work schedules, and instruct proper billing procedures.
  • Develop and revise departmental billing processes and procedures, monitor staff performance, and provide feedback.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, including paid time off, time clock management, and timesheet submission to payroll.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to ensure alignment with CCI-Finance goals.
  • Ensure annual performance evaluations are completed on time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of management experience in a healthcare revenue cycle space.
  • Federally Qualified Health Center experience a plus.
  • Experience with eCW required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and medical office software.
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing and sound knowledge of health insurance providers.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or working at a desk on a computer.
  • The ability to lift up to 15lbs is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, controlled, and enclosed environment with potential exposure to materials and situations that require extensive safety precautions and use of protective equipment.
