Job Summary:
Under supervision, the Electronics Assembly Technician will engage in fundamental electronic and mechanical assembly tasks involving components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies. This role requires adherence to established standards and the ability to follow visual aids and written instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Position and align components accurately and utilize hand or power tools for secure assembly.
2. Mount assembled parts onto panels or circuit boards.
3. Route wiring and cabling through assemblies, ensuring proper color coding and electrical connections.
4. Execute intermediate assembly tasks including potting, encapsulating, cleaning, and wiring.
5. Read and interpret schematic drawings and specifications to ascertain material requirements and assembly instructions.
6. Maintain presence at the assigned worksite during scheduled hours.

Additional Duties:
1. Clean components using appropriate solutions and air hoses.
2. Mark and tag components for inventory tracking.
3. Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with government standards.
- Effective interaction with peers and supervisors.
- Competence in reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
- Dexterity to work with small components and tools.
- Ability to adhere to workplace regulations.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of IPC Solder Training and Certification within the initial weeks of employment.

Work Environment:
- Production environment requiring the ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Capability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Vision requirements include 20/20 vision and color vision, with or without corrective lenses.
