**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at El Paso Children's Hospital. As a key member of our pediatric psychiatry department, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and supporting licensed personnel in their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed personnel in the delivery of quality patient care
  • Float as requested by the team leader and/or supervisor/staffing coordinator
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-directing, able to work with little direct supervision
  • Empathy for the needs of patients
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate through spoken and written English
  • Treats patients and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image
  • Works well as a team member
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of patients' medical information

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent
  • Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or the equivalent
  • Current Certified Nursing Aide from the state of Kentucky
  • BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current
  • One year experience as a Nursing Aide is preferred

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
