Maine Medical Center's Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic provides comprehensive care to children and adolescents under 21 experiencing various psychiatric challenges. These include mood, anxiety, behavior, psychotic, learning, and developmental disorders, substance abuse co-occurring with psychiatric illness, those who have experienced adverse or traumatic events, and those at risk for suicide.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as the initial contact for new patient referrals, conducting thorough orientations to create a safe and welcoming environment
* Provide care coordination and clinical support across co-occurring service lines, ensuring continuity of care
* Play a critical role in the safety of medication management for out-patients, supporting effective and safe treatment
* Assist in training residents and fellows on various practices and procedures, fostering professional development
* Collect, score, generate, and distribute results from rating scales and diagnostic tools, providing valuable feedback to providers for patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred
* License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date, CRMA preferred
* Experience: Two years of experience working with patients with mental illness required, experience in a mental health facility preferred
