Job Overview

At Spurwink Services, we are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Portland. This rewarding role offers a competitive salary of $21.50-$22.50 per hour, providing direct support services to individuals in need.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, promoting independence and self-reliance.
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions for residents.
  • Connect clients with relevant community resources, fostering a supportive network.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities, recreation, and therapeutic programs to enhance resident well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with family members and guardians, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Promote quality assurance by maintaining accurate client records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver's license.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred, as is 1-2 years of experience in direct care or mental health.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to maintain a current driver's license.
