Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Company at Trade Association Meetings: Promote products and build relationships with industry professionals.
  • Agency Operations and Management: Develop and implement best practices to support agency growth and success.
  • Sales and Marketing: Identify agency interests and abilities, and motivate agents to succeed. Develop and execute systematic marketing processes to attract and retain new business.
  • Product and Pricing Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on company products and pricing changes, and articulate the value proposition to agencies.
  • Travel and Representation: Represent the company at trade shows and events, and travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Essential Functions
  • Travel and Representation: Ability to travel and represent the company at trade shows and events.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to create and execute strategic marketing plans to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Sales Strategy: Ability to execute the sales strategy of growing Safepoint's market share in the territory.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to develop and maintain current knowledge of Safepoint's and agencies' computer systems.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry Experience: 5-7 years of related industry experience.
  • Insurance Knowledge: In-depth Property and Casualty Insurance industry knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills.
Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee is required to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time is required.

Physical Requirements

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
