TIC-The Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, operates the TIC-Southern District. Based in The Woodlands, TX, TIC Southern specializes in major industrial projects across various markets throughout the Southeastern United States. Location

This position is primarily based out of our OGC hub in Houston, TX, with significant on-site responsibilities. Responsibilities


• Provide supervisory guidance to craft workers through general foremen and foremen, overseeing productivity, safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.


• Act as a liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.


• Effectively coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Kiewit personnel and leadership, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule compliance.


• Address employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling challenges, informing project and corporate management as necessary.


• Assist in planning schedules, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment needs.


• Ensure consistent adherence to project rules, procedures, and programs, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as outlined in the Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.

Qualifications


• Willingness to travel and relocate as required.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.


• Prior knowledge and experience in heavy equipment, precision mechanical, millwright activities, lifting, and installation settings are essential.


• Advanced understanding of various construction disciplines, union agreements, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and related documents.


• Proven ability to efficiently supervise and assess craft performance.


• Highly motivated, demonstrating a passion for excellence and initiative.


• Strong work ethic, committed to delivering quality results on the first attempt.
