Christ Panos Foods Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our Procurement team as a Meat Procurement Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily buying replenishment to meet service level goals and manage inventory. This role will work closely with vendors and category managers to ensure our customers have the right product at the right price.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily replenishment buying of assigned vendors to maintain expected service and inventory levels

• Timely processing of purchasing orders

• Regular review of current and new item forecasting and profiling for seasonality

• Completion of vendor price changes and market pricing to maximize profitability

• Collaboration with category managers or brokers to address slow-moving items and category duplications

• Ordering of samples as needed

• Daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and preparation of assigned reporting

• Timely maintenance of new vendors, lost business, and other related tasks

• Reporting of damaged product to vendors

• Confirmation of purchase orders and pricing

• Maintenance of contact with the transportation team to manage late deliveries

• Accurate GTINs, IFDA, and commodity codes

• Maintenance of vendor relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum associate's degree or higher in a related field or two to three years of experience in a similar role

• Detail-oriented, organized, team-oriented, and willingness to learn

• Ability to calculate and understand basic math concepts, fractions, ratios, discounts, interest, etc.

• Ability to work in an office full-time, with no remote work available
