Job Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will assist clients with various account transactions, including teller operations. Your role will involve advising clients on our offerings to help them achieve their financial objectives. You will be responsible for accurately processing financial transactions while providing exceptional service to our clients, whether in-person, at the drive-thru, or over the phone. Your friendly and professional demeanor will ensure a positive experience, minimizing wait times for our customers.

Competitive Starting Pay

Work Schedule: 38 to 40 hours per week during branch operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute teller transactions as outlined by the bank.
  2. Daily cashbox balancing to maintain transaction accuracy, reporting discrepancies to your supervisor.
  3. Participate in vault duties, including daily balancing when utilized.
  4. Assist clients in opening various retail accounts and safe deposit boxes as per bank and branch management guidelines.
  5. Maintain existing accounts and provide necessary updates.
  6. Utilize every customer interaction to promote additional services or programs that may benefit them.
  7. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve inquiries from both external and internal customers as required.
  8. Handle incoming calls, assess caller needs, and verify their identity to streamline issue resolution.
  9. Support other departments and branches with transactions as necessary, aiding management in fulfilling customer requests.
  10. Perform branch opening and closing tasks as assigned.
  11. Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  12. Engage in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  13. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

Qualifications

A minimum of one to three years of experience in customer service or a related field is required, with cash handling experience preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

Essential skills include courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, as the role involves personal interactions with others regarding routine matters. You will need to communicate effectively with clients, explaining products and services clearly, addressing their unique needs, and providing accurate answers to their inquiries.
