Job Overview
As a Customer Service Associate II, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with various account transactions, including teller services and new account setups. - Facilitate customer transactions, including teller services and account openings.
- Provide guidance on company products and services to help clients meet their financial objectives.
- Ensure accurate processing of financial transactions while serving as a reliable information source for customers.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and confidential assistance to enhance customer experiences and reduce wait times.
Availability Requirements
Week 1: Saturday 9:45am-4:00pm, Sunday 9:45am-2:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1:00pm-7:00pm
Week 2: Sunday 9:45am-2:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 1:00pm-7:00pm
Essential Duties
- Conduct teller transactions as outlined by the bank.
- Balance cash drawers daily to ensure transaction accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist in vault duties, including daily balancing when applicable.
- Support customers in opening various retail and safe deposit accounts as directed by management.
- Perform maintenance on existing accounts as needed.
- Utilize every customer interaction to promote additional services that may benefit them.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Answer incoming calls, verifying caller identity and addressing their needs promptly.
- Provide support to other departments and branches as required.
- Execute branch opening and closing tasks as assigned.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Compliance and Safety
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies. Report any unsafe activities to supervisors or Human Resources.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service or related experience, with cash handling experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exhibit courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining products and services clearly.
