Position Overview:

About Wardlaw School:
Wardlaw School is committed to supporting children with average to exceptional intelligence who face mild to moderate language-based learning challenges, including dyslexia. Our students, aged 5 to 12, are enrolled in grades K-6 and may exhibit signs of dyslexia or related learning difficulties. We employ dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children, grounded in research-based practices in language development, reading, and mathematics.
Role Summary:
The Admissions Specialist will work under the guidance of the Director of Admissions, providing administrative support, managing the admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment, assisting with outplacement procedures, overseeing the enrollment database, and conducting statistical analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive information about the school, including program differences and clinical services.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and relevant information.
- Generate statistical reports for admissions, outplacement, and school leadership.
- Manage the admissions and outplacement processes using the school's enrollment management system.
- Maintain the admissions webpage, ensuring procedures, important dates, and application links are current.
- Coordinate and schedule tours, open houses, placement screenings, and new student orientations.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- A minimum of three years in a school or college admissions office is preferred.
- Experience as an administrative assistant or office manager.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets is essential.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn industry-specific software.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Compensation and Benefits:
