The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guest Service Agent to join our team at Illuminarium Atlanta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable time at our attraction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operate the point of sale system, ticket kiosks, and other equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist guests with ticket purchases, refunds, and exchanges, as well as provide information on our products and services.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our attraction, including its history, features, and offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Perform cash handling and other financial tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of guest service experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven cash handling skills and ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and transport items weighing up to 20 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
