Job Overview

Remington is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our 8,000+ associates across 130+ hotels and 15+ legal entities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Payroll Manager in collecting, validating, and exporting payroll data to ADP in accordance with the production schedule

• Communicate and coordinate with location contacts regarding payroll and timekeeping items

• Directly interface with ADP to ensure payroll data is provided accurately and efficiently

• Research, resolve, and document payroll errors and issues in a timely manner

• Review and audit payroll data/reports to ensure results meet expectations

• Generate and prepare payroll reports, including custom/Excel reports

• Provide Tier 3 payroll support to associates and location leaders

• Assist with off-cycle payroll processing and manual payments

• Process voids and stop payments

• Participate in internal/ADP meetings related to payroll administration

• Monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures related to payroll processing

• Assist with quarter-end and year-end payroll review, including W2 handling

• Continuously work towards gaining advanced-level knowledge of Remington's payroll processes/systems

• Assist with administering payroll systems and payroll process training for field locations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Knowledge of the full-cycle US payroll function

• 2+ years of payroll experience within a multi-location organization with a large employee population

• Experience with ADP Vantage and ADP Workforce Manager highly desirable

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines

• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and high-volume department

• Proactive and self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work well independently and collaborate effectively within a team

• Excellent planning and organizational skills

• Strong research and problem-solving skills
