Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Omni Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Responsible for the entire payroll process, from data entry to payment distribution.
  • Payroll Reports: Generate and review payroll reports, including productivity reports, tardy reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Payroll Audits: Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information and benefits.
  • Payroll Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and labor laws.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) certification preferred.
