Job Overview

Compliance Management International (CMI) is a leading global provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) services. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct air monitoring and asbestos inspections as specified by job site
  • Develop and implement safety work practices to enhance a culture of safety
  • Generate reports as needed by the job site

Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years environmental experience, including asbestos inspections
  • Ability to calibrate and run air monitoring meters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications
  • Ability to work on 1099 on-call projects

Education and Credentials:

  • PA Asbestos License (current) required
  • NIOSH 7400 required
  • First Aid CPR AED certification required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking on rough terrain
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Ability to stoop, crawl, and bend
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Other Requirements:

  • Background check and potential drug screening required
  • Overtime and flexible working hours may be necessary
  • Residence within a reasonable commuting distance
