Position Overview

The Associate Account Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Account Managers in day-to-day operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the growth of client accounts.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach.

At Gift Health, the account management team is more than just maintaining relationships and reporting.

The account management team works with our outside sales team and external partners to help improve reporting and increase efficiency for our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary communication hub between existing provider groups and Gift Health, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Maintain positive and proactive relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Identify and offer relevant new services or products to existing clients to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle day-to-day issues related to specialty prescriptions, including following up with manufacturer's field representatives and internal teams for status updates.
  • Reach out to healthcare offices to ensure they fully understand our offerings, including explaining our prior authorization process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate script fulfillment, coordinating with relevant teams as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer service roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Familiarity with specialty prescriptions and prior authorization processes is a plus.
