About Lockheed Martin

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the F-35 Training Systems and Simulation (TSS) framework. Your role will encompass the formulation of strategic initiatives, execution of plans, and leadership in the development and enhancement of the entire F-35 Training Systems.

Your duties will also involve managing the life cycle of the F-35 Training Systems and Simulation Enterprise, which includes ongoing development efforts, capability delivery in alignment with Air System objectives, and coordinating enterprise considerations across various business units (including deployment and maintenance).

Location

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven leadership experience working with or for senior levels of the Department of Defense.
  • Demonstrated Program Management experience on complex projects involving Department of Defense Systems.
  • Experience in DoD Contracting and Negotiation (either as a government or contractor representative) on ACAT I or II programs.
  • Proven experience interacting with customer personnel, including high-ranking officials.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading large-scale mission-driven initiatives and program activities.
  • Strong background in Fighter Warfighter training requirements and operations.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Capability to manage, coach, train, and inspire teams in both technical and leadership development.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to address complex issues and solutions with senior leadership.
  • Technical expertise through education and/or professional experience.

Work Schedule Flexibility

Lockheed Martin supports various alternative work schedules that offer additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules may range from a standard 40-hour work week to condensed options that provide extra time away from the office, in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
Compensation Overview

Salary Range:


The annual base salary range for this position in certain states is $180,000 - $300,000.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations when extending an offer.
