Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst Specialist to join our Global Wealth Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining business problems, gathering technical and non-technical information, and developing solutions to meet the needs of our supported Line of Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Product Owner/Delivery Manager in conducting research and analysis, and accurately defining user requirements and processes to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping, developing requirements and solutions on an iterative basis, and providing interim deliverables until a final production solution is created.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
  • Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
  • Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Help analyze current systems to identify opportunities to improve system reliability.
  • Work in a cross-functional Agile team to deliver core business and regulatory solutions.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degrees. Certification in Business Analyst is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of experience working with analysis and design of new features.
  • Working knowledge of project management lifecycles and methodologies (including Agile).
  • Advanced knowledge of financial instruments, including market conventions and valuation methods, risk management methodologies and models, including best practices, current and anticipated regulatory requirements, back-office processes, and transaction workflows.
  • Good understanding of current IT practices, and systems development techniques including requirements specification and testing methodologies, formal and real-time analytical modeling tools, and keeping up to date with rapidly changing technology.
