Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Technician to join our team at RSM Global. As a key member of our Customer Support team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide level 2 end-user support, including monitoring and responding to support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Document Service Desk ticket tech notes for escalation or resolution of service requests.
  • Assist with Service Desk tickets in the regional queue, supporting all locations in the region/company.
  • Send Corporate IT communications to internal customers.
  • Support and maintenance of PCs, including setup and deployment, training, and hardware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, and software issues reported to the Service Desk.
  • Coordinate with authorized vendors for PC hardware repair and maintenance.
  • Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software.
  • Maintain and/or coordinate PC hardware inventory.
  • Order and purchase standard equipment and software through approved vendors.
  • Support firm software and desktop management.
  • Provide IT support for local software within their region, coordinating with Product Champions as needed.
  • Upgrade local server software as necessary.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of technology tools required within assigned responsibilities.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle constantly changing workloads.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels.
